Get your NHS prescriptions dispensed quickly and accurately at Ingrave Pharmacy. We’ve been serving patients across Brentwood and the surrounding villages for over 20 years, and prescription dispensing is at the heart of what we do every day.
We dispense NHS prescriptions for patients across Ingrave, Brentwood, and the wider Essex area. Our dispensing team handles everything from single-item prescriptions to complex repeat medication regimens. You can collect in branch, or have your medication delivered locally for a small charge.
We’re led by an Independent Prescriber with over five years under current ownership. That means clinical oversight isn’t an afterthought here.
You can send your NHS prescription to us electronically through the Electronic Prescription Service, or drop a paper prescription into the pharmacy. If your GP surgery is already set up with EPS, there's nothing to print or carry.
Once your prescription arrives, our team prepares your medication accurately and checks it before it's ready. For most standard prescriptions, this is done on the same day.
Pick up from us at 21 Eastham Crescent during opening hours, or choose local delivery for £3. We're open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.
EPS is the NHS system that lets your GP send prescriptions directly to a pharmacy of your choice. No paper, no collecting a form from the surgery, no extra trip. Your medication can be ready to collect by the time you get to us. For patients on regular medication, it removes a step you probably didn’t realise was unnecessary until it’s gone.
Nominating Ingrave Pharmacy takes a couple of minutes. You can do it through the NHS App, your GP surgery’s online system, or by asking us in branch. We’ll walk you through it if you need a hand.
The quickest way to get started is to scan the QR code below. It takes less than a minute and means your prescriptions can start coming straight to us from your GP.
If you take medication every day, or every few weeks, managing repeats can become a background task that never quite goes away. We take that off your plate. Ingrave Pharmacy is set up to handle long-term medication reliably, so you’re not chasing your surgery and we’re not turning people away because prescriptions haven’t arrived.
We regularly dispense repeat medication for patients managing:
If your condition has recently changed or your dose has been updated, let us know. We’ll make sure what we dispense matches your current prescription.
Our pharmacist is available to talk through your medication at any time. You don’t need an appointment for a quick question.
Ingrave Pharmacy has been dispensing prescriptions locally since before many of our patients moved to the area. That history matters.
Our superintendent isn't just a dispensing manager. Christopher Okworu is a qualified Independent Prescriber with expertise in medication management, which means clinical questions get clinical answers.
Most standard NHS prescriptions are dispensed on the day they arrive. We don't ask you to come back tomorrow for something we can do now.
We're fully set up for the Electronic Prescription Service. Once you nominate us, repeat prescriptions arrive without you having to do a thing.
Can't make it to the pharmacy? We deliver to the local area for a flat £3 charge. No minimum order, no awkward booking process.
Every prescription is prepared and checked before it leaves the counter. We don't rush at the expense of getting it right.
We are conveniently located in Ingrave and provide pharmacy services to patients across the wider Brentwood district and beyond.

What a friendly and helpful chemists. Telephoned them. Needed an urgent flu jab. Told to come down any time. 2 minute journey and walked through the door. The staff were friendly and the jab was painless. We are losing our real local community chemists and so if you live local use it or lose it. 👍👍👍Posted on Google![]()

Yes. You can collect on behalf of a family member or someone in your care. You don’t need written authorisation for standard NHS prescriptions, but having their details to hand helps.
Call us on 01277 229203 and we can check whether it’s come through on EPS. If it hasn’t, we’ll advise whether to contact your surgery or give it more time.

Most GP surgeries issue repeats around 7 to 10 days before you run out. We’d suggest not ordering too early, as some surgeries won’t process requests made more than two weeks in advance.
